Emevé

Emevé was founded in 2004 by Mario Villareal in the heart of the Valle de Guadalupe. The Spanish pronunciation of his initials, MV, give the winery its name. Emevé had humble beginnings, at first only making wines to sell for family and friends. In 2008, Emevé produced its first commercial crops, utilizing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Shiraz grapes. by 2020, total acreage has grown to 18 hectares and now includes Tempranillo, Malbec, and Chardonnay plantings as well. Current production now stands at 5,000 cases spread across 7 different wines. These wines hold a special place for Max and Kenya. When they got married in San Miguel de Allende in 2018, they served Emevé wines at their reception. The reaction of their American guests was so positive that it served as a great motivator for them starting Tozi Imports. Tozi Imports is happy to carry the Emevé Armonía de Tintos Red Blend and the Emevé Cabernet Sauvignon.
